Adam opens today’s show reminiscing about the good ol’ days of first class flying. Bald Bryan then shares his latest health update… some good news just in time for Bryan’s birthday. From there, Adam talks about his upcoming weekend travel for the wedding of Jimmy Kimmel’s daughter, and they go on to discuss a vintage Coors commercial, how Subaru has changed their messaging over the years, and Bill Maher’s thoughts on the death of language. Later, Producer Chris joins the studio with some Trending Topics including the importance of ‘grip’ in our society, a cat saved from falling at a Miami Hurricanes game, ‘cricket dog’, Patton Oswalt canceling tour dates because they wouldn’t comply with COVID safety compliances, Howard Stern’s thoughts on the pandemic, and Conor McGregor fighting with Machine Gun Kelly at the VMAs. Before the break, the guys discuss some other highlights from the VMAs.

Adam recaps his trip to Royal Oak and Kansas City. He chats about an unfortunate incident with a parking lot attendant and shares a new ‘rich man poor man.’ Adam then compliments Kansas City and notices a refreshing difference from his latest flight crew. As the show begins, Adam chats with Bryan and Gina about some of the strange casting choices in the new ‘Impeachment’ series. Today’s pod opens with some KROQ memories, and the brilliant producing mind of Jimmy Kimmel. They go on to talk about the swing revival era of the mid 90s, and Adam talks about doing a father and son football draft with Sonny. Gina also shows the gang a clip from Cher’s old TV show, and improvises a scene with Adam as ‘Nancy Grace’. Brian Setzer then joins the show to share his own memories from recording a track for the KROQ Christmas Album, and going from a three-man-band to traveling with huge orchestras. Later they flash back to the history of Stray Cats, and they also talk about Brian’s pet peeves. Before the break, Adam talks about the Kanye vs. Drake albums to contrast the orchestral music of Brian Setzer.

At the top of the show, Adam tells Bryan and Gina about his trip to Catalina Island over the weekend. He also rants about more mask regulations, awkward conversations with his mom, and what we can learn from William Wrigley Jr. and the history of Catalina. Producer Chris then shares a story of theft from over the weekend, and Adam talks about things he wants to do before he dies.
