Adam opens today’s podcast talking with Bald Bryan who started his 4th of July vacation early. Later, Adam and the gang chat with callers about the mafia, and what the next generation thinks about the military. Author Matthew B. At the top of today’s show, Adam tells the real story of Uncle Ben’s Rice that he recently learned about. He also talks about his recent conversation with Dr. Drew about Coronavirus, and goes on to discuss the importance of switching between being an individual vs. being a statistic. The group also chats about tattoos, and they take calls about ‘the worst day ever’, and which of Adam’s parents he likes more. Gina then reads news stories about the death of Carl Reiner, Russian death bounties on US soldiers, and the controversial video that President Trump recently tweeted. Other stories include the Golden State Killer pleading guilty, and California possibly renaming the John Wayne airport because he was racist. Before the break, the guys listen to an infamous clip of John Wayne while drunk at a graduation ceremony.

At the top of today’s show, the guys go through their birthdays to see who shares the date with the best celebs. Ami Horowitz then calls in from New York after just returning from an Occupy City Hall demonstration. He goes on to talk about media malpractice, and the guys commiserate about growing up in North Hollywood. Adam then asks Ami about highlights from his career path, and the guys go on to talk about his experience working as an investment banker on Wall Street. Later, the guys talk with callers about leftover rules, and Adam recalls an awkward conversation he had with his mom about ‘healthy granola’. Before the break, he talks with more callers about his education level, and the passing of Benny Mardones.

At the top of the show, Adam welcomes his writing partner Mike Lynch to the program and they talk about their new book I’m Your Emotional Support Animal. Then Adam takes a call from a woman asking about the book and Dawson plays a clip. After that, they take another call from a listener asking about raising children in today’s climate. Before they wrap the first half, Dan Dunn joins the show as the gang samples some of the today’s booze selection.
