At the top of the show, Adam recalls his celebrity baseball experience, and the time he told a powerful Hollywood exec to ‘F off’. They go on to talk about the only other time Adam has asked to see a manager, and listen to another classic Birchum clip from the KROQ days. Later they chat about strange lottery winners, and everyone plays a round of Totally Topical Tivo Trivia. Today’s pod opens with everyone sharing stories from their 21st birthdays. Adam then opens a birthday present that Gina got him, which leads to a conversation about her penmanship. They also talk about Matthew Perry’s emergency dental surgery, old school celebrity racing videos, and a surprise Happy Birthday Cameo just for Adam. From there guys chat about KTEL informercials, Willy T. Ribbs returning to the race track, and James Dean’s transaxle going up for auction. Before the break, the guys take calls for a round of ‘Who The F Sells This S’.

At the top of the show, Gina shows off a super creepy vintage TV commercial she recently came across. The guys then listen to a clip of Mr. Birchum actually going in the studio at KROQ as opposed to over the phone. Adam also shares his thoughts on the Chandra Levy disappearance, as well as the origins of the Coronavirus. Later they talk about the NBA Playoffs, and the guys take listener calls about James Garner, wokeness in the workplace, getting in trouble for throwing a ‘wifebeater party’, and life in Norway.

Adam begins today’s show with some brief thoughts on the Israel / Palestine conflict. The guys then listen to a couple more classic Mr. Birchum call from the KROQ days, and Adam recalls the day he got arrested. Producer Chris then enters the studio with Trending Topics, including a massive party that broke out at ‘Adrian’s Kickback’, a WNBA Coach fined and suspending after an ‘offensive’ comment, and the overseas release of Fast & Furious 9. Gina also gives an update on her wedding planning, and Chris reads a couple more trending stories about apologizing actors, and ‘The Linda Lindas’. Before the break, Adam recalls his days of dumpster diving.

At the top of the show, Adam shares his love of John Hiatt’s music to Bryan and Gina. Adam also complains about people who don’t follow instructions, increased gas prices, and Asians not being considered minorities. Bryan and Gina also talk about how much they loved performing live again, and Adam takes listener calls about helicopter auto-rotations, the answer to terrible airplane meals, why the media keeps playing politics, and why people stopped focusing on building things with their hands. Before the break, Adam takes a couple more calls about staying positive in our crazy world, and thoughts on the people who want to cancel Dr. Drew.

The guys also take a listener call about buying a car with a stick shift, which leads Adam to talk about Ford’s game-changing new electric trucks. Another listener calls in to discuss everyone’s favorite hard rock albums. Before the break, the guys talk with Jonathan Taplin about his time working for Bob Dylan, producing the classic concert documentary ‘The Last Waltz’, his thoughts on George Harrison, and making a film with Nick Nolte.
