In the wake of the school shooting in Texas, Adam, Gina, and Bryan are joined by Dr. Marc Zimmerman who has studied youth and firearms in the public health sector. He sheds a light on lesser-known shooting statistics. They then talk to Dr. Marisa Randazzo who co-directed a federal study of school shootings with the Secret Service and Department of Education who specializes in threat assessment and prevention. She gives her insights into patterns she found in shooters over the last 25 years and how we can improve training in schools and local law enforcement.

Comedian and master impressionist, Jonathan Kite, joins the gang to talk about giving weird requests for standup walk-on songs, the home movie generation vs. the influencer generation, and the Ricky Gervais transgender controversy. Jonathan breaks out his Paul Giamatti impression and joins Adam for a round of ‘What Can’t Adam Complain About?’. He and “Paul” complain about tanned breasts, prostitution, power tools, and more.

Adam recounts his experience on ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ last Friday when he was on with Donna Brazile talking about pedo-grifters and generational LGBTQ trends. The gang takes calls from an airline pilot who weighs in on Mike August’s missed flight and an Uber driver who says poor people are more likely to leave a good tip than rich people.

Adam takes the stage live on the beach at Sea Legs in Huntington Beach. He talk about his recent appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher, which was filmed a few hours before the podcast. He then welcomes Bryan, Gina and Jay Chandrasekhar to the stage. Adam chats with Jay about his background performing improv in college and his Indian upbringing. The gang then plays a beach themed round of The Rotten Tomatoes Game before heading into Gina’s news segment. Lastly, Jay works the bingo hopper and joins in for a round of ‘Adam Carolla is Unprepared.’

Adams talks about teaching practical skills in school, his problem with the Waze app, and his theory on how to fix LA’s traffic flow problem. They hear a new song from Rich Banks about Gina’s breast reduction. Chris steps in to host ‘Trending Topics’ and covers President Bush’s slip up, racist Lyft passengers, the BLM IRS issue, and a crowd coming together to stop a moving car after the driver fell asleep.

Adam talks about the new Calvin Klein ad featuring a pregnant man which brings up memories of old commercials. Adam then talks to author Bill Browder about his new book, ‘Freezing Order: A True Story of Money Laundering, Murder, and Surviving Vladimir Putin’s Wrath’. Browder talks about being targeted by Putin after he exposed an international money laundering scheme. Adam then revisits an episode of ‘The Man Show’ where they parodied ‘The Christopher Lowell Show’ and other woman’s programming.

Bryan presents some first cars sent in by listeners which spark conversations about Jimmy Kimmel’s vanity plate and the catchphrases of Jim Nabors’ character, Gomer Pyle. Gina Grad reports the news of the day including: Elon Musk claiming there are more spam accounts on Twitter than he thought, Britney Spears’ miscarriage, the Pentagon declassifying UFO pics, some new Sports Illustrated covers, and director Justin Lin quitting the new Fast and the Furious movie.

Adam tells the story of trying to set up his daughter’s luxury inflatable golf cart for the pool. The gang discusses their terrible first cars and how Patti LuPone needs to relax. Gina hosts ‘Eat Your Feelings’ and brings in her Bulgogi Stir Fry for Adam and Bryan to try.

After seeing a NY Times article about the failures of remote schooling, Adam is reminded of the Twitter war between him and the teacher’s union. Gina reports on today’s news including: the California Coastal Commission shutting down a desalination project, Elon Musk’s Twitter deal being put on hold, and the death of Fred Ward.
