Nick Freitas is a former U.S. Army Green Beret who served combat tours in Iraq before entering politics in Virginia. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2016 to 2026 as a Republican and became nationally known for his libertarian-leaning conservative speeches on issues such as gun rights, limited government, and individual liberty. He also ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate in 2018 and for Congress in 2020, while building a large online audience through his podcast and political commentary.
