Organizers say the demonstrations are meant as a peaceful stand against what they call “authoritarian power grabs” by the Trump administration — continuing the momentum from earlier protests held in June. Meanwhile, in Portland, naked bike riders took to the streets in what they described as a “quintessentially Portland” protest against federal troops and government overreach.
