Show Summary

Adam welcomes Richard Roeper to the show, and the guys start the podcast discussing Richard’s roots in Chicago. Adam recalls how surreal it was watching Roeper review his film ‘The Hammer’, and Richard shares his thoughts on other critics like Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel. They also talk about how many film critics there are now, and getting into dust-ups after people read your negative reviews. Later, they discuss prolific directors like Woody Allen, Clint Eastwood, and Quentin Tarantino.

In the second half of the show, Roeper and Adam look back on the underwhelming summer we just had, and chat about weird casting choices throughout the years. They also talk about scenes in movies that take them out of the experience. As the show wraps up, Adam recalls finding a mistake in his film after the 10,000th edit
