Alonzo Bodden and David Wild
Adam opens the show thankful for all the donations to http://fundanything.com/patenttroll. The guys also talk about the origins of the ‘don’t be a one-upper’ drop, and watch a tacky movie trailer from the early 70s. Alison then talks about the latest in her fertility issues, and the experience of getting her blood drawn. Later, David and Adam exchange ‘British Invasion’ songs in honor of the new special airing Thursday on CNN that David worked on. They also take fan phone calls about over-sharing on Facebook, getting a vasectomy, and acknowledging red flags in your dating life. Adam welcomes Alonzo Bodden to the show next, and the guys discuss their shared passion for all things mechanical. Alonzo also proudly announces his purple Cadillac, and Adam asks him about race relations and dating. They then talk about Alonzo’s experiences at Lockheed as a teenager, and the importance of vocational training, which is sadly lacking these days. In the last part of the show, Alison reads news stories about a disgruntled Yankees fan suing ESPN for making fun of him while sleeping during a game, New York legalizing medical marijuana, and a pet store owner committed to eating pet food to prove it’s nutritional value.
