Wheeler Walker Jr. and Jo Koy

Wheeler Walker Jr. and Jo Koy

Show Summary

Adam opens the show with Jo Koy in studio. The guys improvise a hilarious scene involving Memory Foam, and then talk about what the kids are planning for Halloween this year. Later, Adam discusses the new snack policies on Southwest, and the guys take suggestions for a Halloween-themed round of Made Up Movie. Other topics of conversation include the constant struggle to bum things off friends, and growing up with parents who say no. Before Good Sports, Adam recalls his days of trying to arrange airport pickups when he was broke.

Wheeler Walker is in studio next, and the guys talk about his new album of filthy love songs, and some of Wheeler’s musical inspirations. They also talk about touring with Kid Rock, things he’s learned playing bigger arenas, and having a new wife and new kid. Gina then begins the news talking about a new Christmas album from the Beach Boys’ Mike Love, which leads to further conversation about cover and parody songs. Other news stories include the 50 Cent / Ja Rule feud, Will Ferrell trying to get people to vote, and new deals on the upcoming Tesla 3. As the show wraps up, the group discusses Channing Tatum’s divorce, a record-breaking pancake chef, and Demi Lovato’s 90-day sobriety chip.
