Show Summary
Today’s show opens with a discussion about this year’s Super Bowl. Adam, Bryan and Gina break down the performances of Tom Brady vs. Patrick Mahomes, and also go through some of the more controversial calls and moments from the big game. Later they talk about how football and the military are similar, and Adam brings up his latest haircut experience. The group also discusses the story of a NY Times writer forced to retire after repeating a racial slur, which leads to a larger conversation about everyone being wished into the cornfield. Before the break, Bald Bryan brings up his favorite ‘Sportsball’ tweets from the past weekend, and the guys go through some of the more memorable Super Bowl commercials.
Violet Benson is in studio with Adam at the top of Part 2. Adam asks her about spending time in Russia and Israel before moving to LA at age 14. They also talk about where Violet’s work ethic comes from, how she dealt with bullying in the workplace, and what she’s learned about the game of Chess. Gina then reads news stories about annoying Super Bowl commercials, the latest with Armie Hammer, Hilaria Baldwin, Suzanne Somers, a baby gender reveal catastrophe, and JetBlue’s new luxury redesigns. As the show wraps up, Violent comments on why she doesn’t date, people’s obsession over social media, and the horrifying experience of getting scabies.
