Show Summary
As the show opens up, Adam confirms that he’ll be appearing in the upcoming Roast of Alec Baldwin. He also talks about last night’s Father/Son Fantasy Football Draft, and gives an update on his recent dental surgery. Matt Richtel then calls in to discuss how humans have over-corrected for our immune system. They also talk about getting your facts right as a journalist, Caelan’s blood clot situation, and Matt’s new detective novel. Later, the guys talk about Joe Walsh running for President.
Vinnie Tortorich is in studio next, and the guys talk about diets that don’t work and the problems with #meatlessmonday and the ‘impossible’ burger. They also discuss the spread of misinformation, and how Vinnie met the creator of Popeye’s Chicken. Gina then reads news stories about Joel Schumacher, democratic candidates no longer running for President, and Leslie Jones hosting the reboot of Supermarket Sweep. Other news stories include the death of TV personality Jessi Combs, Paul Walker’s Fast and Furious character getting a new storyline, and the latest with Jussie Smollett. As the show wraps up, the guys share their love of Frank Stallone, and discuss one last story about a cop who pretended to be trapped under sniper fire.
