Show Summary
Adam opens today’s podcast with a clip of Nancy Grace on Tucker Carlson. He then details the odyssey of getting a fancy pool table delivered, and goes on to take fan phone calls about his upcoming trip to Alaska, and his favorite dirty joke. Gina begins today’s news with several updates in the world of Harvey Weinstein (including updates on Rose McGowan, as well as Harvey’s ex-wife, Georgina). Adam also talks about racing against Adrian Brody, and the guys end the half reacting to more news stories about Pete Davidson, and Hank Azaria, the voice of ‘Apu’ from The Simpsons.
Adam welcomes Trevor Moawad to the studio. The guys talk about thinking bigger than just mindfulness and positive thinking. They also discuss combating stress, acting ‘as if’, and the problems with the self-esteem movement. Later they chat about the negative power of vocalizing your doubts, and Trevor talks more about his experiences training elite athletes to increase their longevity. Other topics of conversation include learning to be less judgmental, stopping the things that aren’t helping you, and redefining what it means to work. As the show wraps up, the guys discuss harnessing your mind, making small changes in your life, and focusing on staying neutral.
