Show Summary

As the show opens up, Adam talks about a recent conversation he had about Russia’s interference with the United States. Adam then takes a call from RJ Bell about the results of last week’s NFL picks. The guys also chat about their recent trip to Vegas and the controversial judging of the Canelo-GGG fight. Before hanging up, RJ takes us through this week’s ‘RJs Parlay’. Next up, Adam discusses Dolly Parton’s recent appearance at the Emmys, and Adam takes a call from Teddy Atlas about his recent appearance on Sports Center, training a young Mike Tyson, and the importance of the love of a father.

After today’s Good Sports segment, author Tripp Whetsell is in studio, and Adam asks him about the history of legendary comedy club ‘The Improv’. Tripp talks about how he became interested in this topic, and his experiences co-writing the book with Bud Friedman. Later they discuss some of the most notable comedians to come out of ‘The Improv’. Gina then begins the news talking about a father who went a little too far scaring his daughter with a clown costume. They also talk about Taylor Swift being sued for stealing lyrics, a ‘Narcos’ location scout shot and killed in Mexico, and claims that the world is going to end on Saturday.
