Show Summary
Adam opens today’s show talking about taping an episode of Bill Maher’s upcoming podcast. Adam also addresses his strained relationship with execs at HBO, and plays a Sting song from the 80s that’s still relevant today. From there, the guys talk about the life of John Ritter. Suzanne Somers is on the show next, and Adam chats with her about her property in Palm Springs, as well as her thoughts on John Ritter. Later, they talk more about the behind the scenes of Three’s Company, Suzanne’s Award-winning run in Las Vegas, and the circumstances surrounding her posing for Playboy. The conversation then transitions to Gut Renew and personal health, and before the break, Alan Hamel chimes in on his Alpha Beta commercials and fighting Malibu fires.
Ahmed Ahmed is in studio at the top of Part 2. The guys chat about performing standup all over the place, the ridiculousness of charging for post-show meet and greets, and some of the ‘normal’ jobs Ahmed had before breaking into showbiz. Ahmed also discusses how he moved away from playing terrorist roles, and getting banned from telling certain jokes. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the ‘Nintendo Generation’ having trouble in basic training. As the show wraps up, Adam tells Ahmed about the last big fight he was in.
