Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam plays some clips from ‘Too Late with Adam Carolla’ involving ‘1780s Guy’. Bald Bryan then brings in a new ‘Ramblin Man’ song, and the guys jump to the phones for a frustrating call about ant problems and pest control. More calls involve age differences in dating, what to do when you find out your wife is pregnant, and thoughts on anchovies. Up next, Adam plays a clip from one of his ‘Unprepared’ performances, and the guys go on to discuss Gavin Newsom, Disneyland, and over the top Thanksgiving restrictions. Before the break, the gang talks about submarines, and the Porcelain Punisher recalls a vacation marred by COVID rules.

Steve Byrne is in studio at the top of Part 2. The guys talk about his fantastic new movie, ‘The Opening Act’, and the process of writing the very realistic script. They also chat about the current status of the Comedy Store, the hypocrisy of California’s restrictions, and the thought process behind wanting to make a movie about standup. In today’s news, Gina reads stories about Jeff Bridges being diagnosed with lymphoma, updates on Bill Cosby, and the suspension of a CNN analyst who exposed himself on a Zoom meeting. Conversation also turns to the upcoming debates, taxing the rich, and the new Borat movie. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about a kid giving Thumbs Up to crazy foods, and Steve and Bald Bryan bond over their love of the band Oasis.
