12 Nov S. Leigh Savidge and John McKenna
At the top of the show, Adam takes a call from S. Leigh Savidge, who was recently on the podcast discussing ‘Straight Outta Compton’. He gives an update on Death Row Records, and the guys chat about why everyone is so afraid to touch on these topics. Leigh talks a bit more about the deaths of Tupac and Biggie, and Adam wonders why the murders happened in such a public place. Adam then chats with this week’s Lord of the Jungle winner.
After the break, director John McKenna joins the show, and Adam talks with him about his incredible new doc, ‘Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans’. Adam asks him how he found such great never before seen footage, and how he became fascinated with the subjects. John also discusses his next documentary project, and the difficulties Adam had trying to clear Le Mans footage with the French. Gina begins the news with the Starbucks Red Cup scandal. They also talk about crime crackdowns in Indonesia, an eight year old charged with murder, and a huge cave-in that occurred in an IHOP parking lot. As the show wraps up, Adam plays an exclusive clip of an upcoming Take A Knee.
