Show Summary
Adam opens the show telling Bryan and Gina about Dr. Drew having his wallet stolen, and the secret world of criminals. Adam then chats with both staff and listeners about their craziest Tijuana stories. Author and journalist Richard Zoglin then enters the studio, and the guys talk about the history and legacy of Elvis, and how he changed Las Vegas entertainment forever. They also discuss the role that ‘The Colonel’ played in Elvis’ life, and Adam asks Richard what he knows about Bob Hope.
Gina begins today’s news with the release of Cyntoia Brown, a woman who spent 15 years in jail for killing a man who hired her to have sex. They also discuss the National Anthem attack that sent a teen to the hospital, Sheryl Crow’s statements about her time on the road with Michael Jackson, and PETA wanting animal segments off of late night TV. Other news stories include the new storyline for American Crime Story, and statistics about summer marriage proposals. As the show wraps up, Gina talks about getting engaged, and Adam and Shek bring today’s Good Sports.
