20 Nov Peter Mehlman
Adam opens the show talking about a question posed on the Adam and Dr. Drew show about whose fault it is when someone doesn’t get a joke. It leads to a breakdown of Adam’s old publisher not understanding the joke on the back of one of his books. Adam then shows a clip that’s gone viral because someone asked to show respect to the police, and he goes on to talk about the nonsense of white privilege. Later they chat with callers about Hazy IPAs, garbage men, and trying to make sense of the health care debate.
Peter Mehlman is in studio next, and the guys have a laugh about their dogs getting to know each other during the break. They also talk about the new trend of people getting offended about everything, the problems with victim mentality, and performing standup jokes to see who gets upset.
Gina then begins the news by announcing Maxipada’s birthday. Other stories include updates on the Jeffrey Epstein ‘suicide’, a new commuter air service in Los Angeles, and someone who had an allergy to the feathers in his pillows. They also talk about a state-wide anti-drug campaign gone wrong, the ‘Gronk Beach’ music festival, and a new season of limited edition beers upon us. As the show wraps up, the guys react to a story of two chemistry professors busted for making meth, and Adam and Shek bring today’s Good Sports.

Amber Liu just said a black man who was harassed by the police for eating a sandwich deserved what happened. This is why poc solidarity doesn’t exist. I feel sick to my stomach pic.twitter.com/9K5alZvP3H

One of the creepiest ads I’ve ever seen. Powerful forces in our society are determined to push this nonsense onto your kids. Are you going to stand up and say something about it?
