Paul Rodriguez + What Can’t Adam Complain About?

PODCAST:

PART 1

PART 2

Show Summary

As the show opens up, Adam complains about no one knowing you’re on the phone when you use wireless ear buds. The guys then watch the trailer for No Safe Spaces, and Adam talks about the trauma of waking up early for his morning radio tour. After that, Adam chats with Bespoke Post CEO Rishi Prabhu about his background, entrepreneurism, and the joys of a monthly box program. Bald Bryan then gives a health update on the 9-year anniversary of his cancer diagnosis, and the guys watch clips from Bill Maher about kids needing a little fear in their lives. Later, Adam shares his thoughts on never seeing Tom Cruise in shorts, and cell service at large events.

Paul Rodriguez is in studio next, and Adam talks to him about the time they performed at The Ice House a couple years ago. Paul talks about how Norman Lear discovered him and first set off his career, and then Adam asks him for his taco rankings. The guys also discuss the idea of ‘velvet handcuffs’ and comedians having to censor themselves. Adam and Paul then face off in a Mexico-themed round of What Can’t Adam Complain About. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about videogame scholarships, the Toronto van killings, the latest crazy airline passenger story, a guy who survived attacks from a shark, bear, and rattlesnake, and the first ever penis/scrotum transplant.
