Patrick Dempsey, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and RJ Bell

Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam talks about a recent conversation he had with Dr. Drew about the New Green Deal, and then shares a clip of their chat with Neil deGrasse Tyson about rethinking the notion of risk. He also plays a TED talk clip about the benefits of nuclear power, as well as an additional interview about why emotional problems become real problems. Up next, the guys follow up on yesterday’s ‘Eat Your Feelings’ segment.

Patrick Dempsey is in studio next, and the guys chat about Patrick’s new documentary, which follows the life of racer Hurley Haywood. Adam notes that both of them were simultaneously working on docs surrounding a minority trying to win at a sport no one thought they could. They also talk about the history of Le Mans, and what it takes to put a team together, qualify, and hopefully win.

RJ Bell then calls in to talk about all the March Madness excitement happening right now. They also chat about transitioning from college into the pros, and enjoy the next round of Banks Bracket Madness. Gina then reads news stories about New Zealand changing their gun laws, Robert Kraft not taking the deal he was offered, and Amy Schumer revealing her husband has autism. As the show wraps up, the guys watch a clip of Mark McGrath talking about the value of intellectual property. Stick around for an extended interview with Neil deGrasse Tyson and Dr. Drew!

Watch ‘Hurley’ on Digital and OnDemand this Tuesday, March 26th.
