Show Summary
Adam opens today’s podcast lamenting how many people lack character. The guys then discuss the backstory of today’s guest, Brian Banks, and another strange coincidence involving one of Adam’s former managers. Adam also talks about his weekend hanging on the beach with Bill Simmons, and life lessons he learned while playing Frisbee with Sonny. Later, the guys discuss the Mario Lopez controversy.
Brian Banks is in studio next, and Adam asks him about his true story that inspired the new film. They talk further about the legal battle that ensued, giving up a part of his life for something he didn’t do, and managing his anger. Other topics of conversation include casting the new movie, playing in the NFL after prison, and how watching the new movie brings back old memories.
Gina begins the news talking about the two mass shootings that happened over the weekend. They also discuss Tom Brady playing at least two more years in the NFL, Kevin Spacey’s latest ‘performance’, and statistics about kids quitting sports at age 11. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about Hooters getting into the liquor business, and Adam and Shek bring today’s Good Sports.
