Show Summary
Adam begins today’s show talking with Bryan and Gina about Football Sundays, Kate McKinnon’s Verizon commercials, and Chicago’s new homicide record. Later they discuss an article from the NY Post about a transgender swimmer shattering women’s records. Before the break, LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva joins the podcast to address progressive policies backfiring, speaking up when things aren’t working, pushing against vaccine mandates, and the cities that are doing it right.
Comedian Mo Mandel is in studio next, and the guys chat about the politics of booking comics, and how comedy has fared during the pandemic. They also talk about his path to performing standup, the movie he was in with Jackie Mason, and odd guys who pick up a lot of women. Later, Mo talks about being married to a urologist, and Gina reads breaking news about the Jussie Smollett guilty verdict. In the last part of the show, the gang reacts to more news stories about Josh Duggar’s guilty verdict, Scott Peterson’s re-sentencing, and New Zealand’s attempts to outlaw smoking.
