Show Summary
Adam describes how the recording of his audio book is giving him flashbacks to being a bad high school student and recounts a painting he once revived for his 21st birthday depicting his life at the time. Television host and narrator, Mike Rowe, talks to Adam one on one about his show ‘Dirty Jobs’ returning for its 10th season on The Discovery Channel. Mike explains how the blank page of potential to make anything you want helps less than you’d think and how tweaking the usual formula made ‘Dirty Jobs’ what it is today. He talks about how his foundation, mikeroweWORKS, has helped 700 welders get their certification and how people shouldn’t put themselves in a box when it comes to career growth. Mike tells Adam about how his shoot for ‘Dirty Jobs’ was cancelled by the GSA at the last minute and how it may have secretly been for personal reasons rather than a security issue.
