NBA champion and mental health advocate Metta World Peace joins the show and Adam asks him about his upbringing in the New York projects, including a friend of his getting murdered on the basketball court. Next, Adam asks how early mental health became an important part of his life and Metta suggests a few ideas to help children progress and cope with various issues. Adam recommends trying a sensory deprivation tank and they discuss meditation and psychedelics. After that, Adam and Metta talk about the importance of hard work and how government handouts can hinder someone’s ambition. Metta gives his thoughts on the COVID vaccine, Kyrie Irving, and what Kobe Bryant meant to him. Before they wrap, Adam asks about ‘The Malice at the Palace’.
