17 Jan Maurice Benard
Show Summary
After a killer tool box intro, Adam starts this week’s pods with a rant about how LA has become a garbage dump, and the terrible policies that allowed it to happen. The guys then listen to a clip of Bob Saget and Norm Macdonald, and learn about what happened to one of the lesser-known child actors from the film ‘Bugsy Malone’. Before the break, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the guys play a super woke round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game.
Maurice Benard is in studio at the top of Part 2, and the guys discuss his 28 years on General Hospital. They go to talk about how he deals with bi-polar disorder, managing his anxiety during the pandemic, and the power of meditation. Later they discuss filming fan videos on Cameo, having memory issues, and the beauty of soap operas. In the last part of the show, Maurice shares a crazy story about a schizophrenic stalker, and Gina reads news stories about Navient paying $1.7 Billion in student loans, RFK assassin Sirhan Sirhan denied parole, updates on the naked baby from the Nirvana album cover, Kanye West accused of battery, rumors of Pete Davidson hosting the Oscars, and Lays’ upcoming Super Bowl commercial.

Keep hearing of train burglaries in LA on the scanner so went to #LincolnHeights to see it all. And… there’s looted packages as far as the eye can see. Amazon packages, @UPS boxes, unused Covid tests, fishing lures, epi pens. Cargo containers left busted open on trains. @CBSLA pic.twitter.com/JvNF4UVy2K

In honor of Bob Saget and Norm Macdonald I want to share the funniest thing I’ve seen in years. Amazing chemistry. RIP two legends. pic.twitter.com/1LDgwAZ4Hb
