05 Nov Lynette Carolla and Dennis Miller
Adam opens today’s podcast talking about donut confusion not just in the studio, but also across the nation. Dennis Miller then calls in to play a Power Couple round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game. Before hanging up, Adam rehashes his dislike of Kevin Smith. Adam also talks with Bald Bryan about USC football, and the guys tease a Capital One commercial featuring Whitney Houston. Lynette Carolla then joins the studio, and the guys debate the merits of The Beastie Boys. They also talk about the new Carolla Christmas Crate, and Lynette helps break down the bizarre Capital One commercial they watched together last night.
In Part 2 of today’s show, the guys talk with a caller about Adam’s habits of not using soap or shampoo. After that, they watch the infamous ‘get him a towel’ video of Sonny dipping in a freezing cold pool. Gina then begins the news with a breaking story about Alec Baldwin getting arrested. They also talk about the Raiders cheerleader who took a knee during the National Anthem, the first inmate executed by electric chair since 2007, and an actor who lied about being a war vet after he cut off his own arm. As the show wraps up, Adam shares his thoughts on ‘Steam Punk’, and Jay J. Armes. Stay tuned for an all new Good Sports, PLUS a special re-airing of the infamous Gavin Newsom interview.
