07 Jun Larry Miller, Brian Koppelman, and author Lis Wiehl
Adam opens the show thinking about where everyone was when they were 12 years old, in honor of his twins’ birthday. Larry Miller is also in studio, and the guys play a round of the Hypothetical Road Trip Game. Brian Koppelman then calls in to share his love of Larry Miller, and the guys talk about needing germs, mourning the loss of Brian’s mother, and the new season of Billions. Up next, the guys listen to the new Rich Banks track about Bald Bryan disagreeing with Adam, and talk to a caller who claims to have ghost written both Titanic and Avatar. Before the break, enjoy today’s Good Sports.
Lis Wiehl is in studio next, and Adam asks her what we need to know about Charles Manson. They talk about the lead-up to the infamous massacre, what Manson’s true motives were, and attending Tex Watson’s latest parole hearing. Later they discuss police incompetency, the problems with not sharing information, and capital punishment politics. Gina then reads news stories about the pardoning of Alice Marie Johnson, the resigning of the 76ers President of Basketball Operations Bryan Colangelo, and IHOP changing its name to IHOB. As the show wraps up, the guys talk about a new pilsner in Sweden brewed with wastewater.
