Show Summary
Today’s pod opens with Adam playing some strange clips from the show ‘TJ Hooker’. He then compares his dad to uber-producer Brian Grazer, and talks about what people are willing to do to accomplish their goals. From there, the guys chat with a caller who has a Tool Tune suggestion. Later, the gang listens back on a recent call with Brad Evans about the Niners-Seahawks game. Brad’s back on the line to make predictions for the weekend’s upcoming games. Before the break, the guys talk about ‘rape rock’, weepy car commercials, and football player name confusion.
Larry Hankin is in studio next, and the guys talk about his incredible career. They also discuss Larry’s new book, his experience being nominated for an Academy Award, and working with Woody Allen early on in his career. Gina then begins the news talking about People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. They also discuss Ricky Gervais hosting the Golden Globes again, Dave Grohl on Sesame Street, and Bernie Taupin’s ex-wife auctioning off handwritten lyrics. As the show wraps up, everyone talks about a new sports trivia game show, and Days Of Our Lives going on indefinite hiatus.
