Show Summary
Adam recalls a time he found $50 on the ground and taking it to the Lost & Found. Then Bryan reviews the Hulu original movie Run in Hooray for Baldywood before the gang plays another round of Sling It Forward. Next, the guys discuss the elements of good debate after watching a clip of Adam’s appearance on The Doctors. Gina then reports on today’s news stories: The Beverly Hill’s City Council pushes back against LA City Council dining regulations, airlines not required to recognize emotional support animals as service animals, San Francisco bans tobacco smoking inside apartments, the Captain of a diving boat is charged with manslaughter after the boat caught fire and killed 34 people last year, Snoop Dogg launces his own pro boxing league, and an astronomer claims we’ll find aliens by 2036.
Johnny Brennan joins the show and Adam talks to him about the history of The Jerky Boys and a what it was like to “go viral” before the time of the internet. Then they talk about Crank Yankers and how prank phone calls aren’t nearly as big of a deal to young people anymore. After that, Adam and Johnny chat about turning prank phone calls into a living and the Jerky Boys getting famous after being played on The Howard Stern Show in the 90s. Lastly, Johnny talks about the importance of a life lesson he learned from listening to Adam.
