Show Summary

Adam opens today’s show sharing his excitement to talk with John Schneider of ‘Dukes of Hazzard’, and discussing how times have changed since his babysitting days in the early 80s. He also tells Bryan and Gina about driving with Natalia through Hollywood, and the plan to teach the kids how to drive a stick shift using a limited-edition sports car. Later the group talks about the Rose Bowl game moving to Texas because of California’s restrictions, and Gina goes on to read a news story about another restaurant owner in California suing Gavin Newsom. Before the break, Dr. Drew joins the show to talk about more Coronavirus myths being busted, and the guys respond to a couple more news stories about flying squirrels, Eddie Izzard, funny airline videos, and a guy who successfully sued his parents for destroying his classic porn collection.

Adam welcomes John Schneider to the podcast for the second half of today’s show. Adam talks with him about John’s tribute to ‘Smokey and the Bandit’, and also how John has always been a car nut ever since he was a little kid. They go on to talk about how John started doing ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ when he was just 18 years old, and working with legendary stuntman Hal Needham. Later, John talks about the importance of creativity, and Adam rants about our society rejecting older ideas, even if they worked. As the show wraps up, Adam and John discuss the loss of anticipation, the return of Drive-In theaters, and teaching kids to drive stick.
