13 Nov John Popper and Jo Koy
As the show opens up, Adam tells Bryan and Gina about a conversation he had with his crew over the weekend about someone leaving the air compressor on. Jo Koy then enters the studio and apologizes for being late, and the guys go on to talk about the rise of mass shootings. Adam then attempts to get a table at PF Changs, and plays his favorite Blues Travelers song, ‘Look Around’. Before the break, Adam asks Jo for his theory on Italian restaurants.
John Popper is in studio next, and he tries to convince Adam that Lou Reed isn’t so bad. The guys then talk about jam bands like Phish, tripping on mushrooms while on a cruise ship, and a song that John wrote dedicated to his audiences. Gina then begins the news talking about the fires that continued over the weekend, and James Woods’ latest tweets. Up next, John steps in to improve a song that Adam hates. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about the death of Stan Lee, Pete Davidson’s apology to Lt. Com. Dan Crenshaw on SNL, and Lisa Lampanelli retiring from standup. Before signing off, the guys talk about rapper Ice T saying he’s never had a bagel, and Adam and Shek bring today’s Good Sports.
