Show Summary

Adam plays a “name drop” montage from a recent CarCast episode and comments on how there are certain types of people more inclined to name drop than others. The gang talks about why some dog microchips have no data on them, the difference between rough housing and fighting, and the Arizona contest to decide the next freeway overhead sign. Chris presents a round of ‘Trending Topics’, but they only get to one: Rob Zombie’s prequel to ‘The Munsters’.

Actor and comedian Joel McHale joins Adam in the studio to talk about his new show cooking show ‘Celebrity Beef’. He remembers how when he was on ‘Community’, they were always on the verge of cancellation and how he had lunch with Adam the day ‘The Soup’ was cancelled. Joel talks about his struggles with dyslexia, especially when reading off the prompter when he hosted ‘The Soup’. Joel then impersonates Adam’s dad on the trumpet as Gina Grad reports the news of today including: Armie Hammer reportedly selling timeshares and Kevin Spacey being charged in Britain.
