Show Summary
Adam is back from New York after an insane book tour schedule without a moment of peace. Mike August calls in to tell yet another harrowing story of a flight gone wrong when the pilot of his plane from Springfield got stuck in the bathroom leading to a series of unfortunate incidents. Adam tells the gang how he sweat his sleeves off at The Stand in New York after the air conditioning went out in a crowded room. Adam tells more NY stories such as how he kept getting roped into doing shows with no notice and how Mike Lynch accidentally knocked a wine bottle out of someone’s hand.
Comedian Joe DeRosa comes in the studio to talk about the restaurant he opened with the owner of The Stand Comedy Club, ‘Joey Roses’. Joe talks about working with Jonathan Banks on ‘Better Call Saul’, the single improv show he ever participated in, fake ‘wine products’ in New York liquor stores, and what makes a good sandwich. Gina Grad reports the news of today including: First Avenue cancelling a Dave Chappelle show, the DEA seizing 1 million pills containing fentanyl, a transgender woman inmate in New Jersey being transferred to a men’s prison after impregnating two inmates, and Velveeta releasing a liquid mac n’ cheese martini.
