Show Summary
Adam, Bryan and Gina open today’s show with a discussion about your kids being embarrassed by you. Dawson then plays a clip from an audiobook he’s been working on, and the guys give an update on getting their vaccines. Adam also talks about his cheerleading experience, and the guys listen to another Rancher Rick clip from a recent Unprepared performance. Later, the guys go through the scores of this year’s Oscar Nominated Docs, and Adam rants about his own documentary not having a Critic’s Score on Rotten Tomatoes. Chris Laxamana then joins the show with Trending Topics ranging from one-person pop up tents, to Bill Burr at the Grammy’s, to canceling the Pope. Before the break, the guys talk about St. Patrick’s Day and Chris’ incredible U2 Rooftop Concert experience.
Adam welcomes Jeremy Piven back to the show, and the guys talk about bumping into each other recently while performing standup at an outdoor venue. They also discuss Jeremy’s new movie, ‘Last Call’, and they go on to chat about being thrown into the deep end of performing standup. Later they talk about independent filmmaking, the humbling experience of auditioning, and trying to get people to see you as something other than a character you played. Gina also asks Jeremy about one of his earlier movies, ‘P.C.U.’, and the conversation wraps up with more talk about ‘Last Call’, as well as incredible actors Jeremy has co-starred with. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about ‘The Talk’ going on hiatus, Andrew Cuomo’s hand size, and an unemployed Oxford graduate suing his parents for financial support.
