Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks about being a little unprepared after not taking any notes all weekend. Then they discuss the possibility of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti becoming Joe Biden’s Secretary of Transportation. After that, Adam talks to a caller who wants to know how Adam explains the political divide in the country to his kids. Before the break, the gang plays an animal-themed round of “The Rotten Tomatoes Game.”
Jeff Cesario joins the show and talks about how COVID has affected his live shows. Adam asks Jeff about his first Tonight Show appearance back in 1987. Then, Adam and Jeff talk about hot wiring cars and robbing banks. Gina reports on today’s news stories including: Alcohol sales surging after Joe Biden’s win, Anderson Cooper’s remarks on Trump refusing to concede, Dave Chappelle’s SNL monologue, and the passing of Jeopardy host Alex Trebek.
