Show Summary
Adam begins today’s show posing questions about the lyrics in the Shaft theme song. The guys then share Roomba stories, and Producer Chris enters the studio to talk about his wedding still being on hold thanks to COVID. Bald Bryan also talks about taking the family up to the snow this weekend. The guys then respond to Trending Topics about Taylor Swift, drunk Tom Brady, defending Britney Spears, and entries for a new segment called the ‘Cornfield Countdown’. Before the break, Adam rants about cancel culture and China.
Jamie Kennedy is on the show at the top of Part 2. Adam asks him about performing comedy in the COVID quarantine era, and Jamie talks about growing up around Philadelphia, and his path to Hollywood. They also chat about Jamie’s old hidden camera show, performing Shakespeare in ‘Romeo + Juliet’, and the difference between Baz Luhrmann and Bas Rutten. Later, Gina reads news stories about the death of Larry Flynt, more on Bruce Springsteen’s DWI arrest, Chiefs coach Britt Reid’s car accident, and a 90-year-old hero who spent $10k in ads to complain about slow internet speed. As the show wraps up, Adam and Jamie talk about living in North Hollywood, and racist Hustler cartoons.
