Show Summary
Today’s show opens with a Super Bowl recap, including highlights from the big game, how the refs officiated, and the fact that no one was wearing their masks. They also break down some of the more memorable commercials that aired. Later, the guys review some of the most embarrassing #sportsball tweets. Before the break, Adam tells Bryan and Gina an infamous story involving Sam Cooke, and he shares his thoughts on the band Rush.
Comedian Ian Edwards is in studio at the top of Part 2. Adam asks Ian about being a comedian during the cancel culture era, and his experiences pitching comedy in a writer’s room. The guys also talk more about Ian’s upbringing, Adam’s Super Bowl party, and the dangers of boating. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about the death of director Ivan Reitman, Whoopi Goldberg’s return to The View, and a breakdown of the Super Bowl Halftime show.
