Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam thanks The Pie Hole for their special delivery, and talks to Bald Bryan about his birthday, and waiting for his daughter to be born. The guys then listen to the theme for Barney Miller, and Adam rants about the definition of cheese. Bald Bryan also reviews Sully for this week’s Baldywood, and the guys get an update on the Carolla Digital Fairy Tale Football league. Before the break, Adam takes fan phone calls about getting suspended for leaving trash in a workspace, pizza dough fights, being transparent with your partner, and ignoring your gut instinct.
Hal Linden is in studio next, and Adam talks with him about his love of Barney Miller. The guys discuss the very diverse cast of that show, and a controversial moment that gave the series a lot of buzz early on. Later they talk about Hal’s roots in the Bronx, playing in the Army band, and his Broadway debut. Gina then begins the news with the results of the first LA Rams game of the season. They also talk about Ryan Lochte being protested for his role on Dancing with the Stars, and a voluntary recall of Samsung smart phones. As the show wraps up, Adam rants about celebs who refuse to sign autographs.
