24 Aug Greg Grunberg and David Wild
Adam opens the show talking more about Monterey, and people not taking responsibility for their mistakes. David Wild is also in studio, and he talks about a recent lunch he had with Phil Rosenthal. Adam then flashes back to his improv comedy days, and pays tribute to an old teacher. Adam also takes fan phone calls about what to do on a cross-country road trip, dealing with the TSA, and his thoughts on Norm MacDonald. Before the break, Bald Bryan reviews the new film, ‘Don’t Think Twice’.
Greg Grunberg is in studio next, and Greg talks to Adam about his new series, ‘Geeking Out’. They gang also discusses Owen Wilson’s nose, party colleges, and going to Tijuana with J.J. Abrams. Later they talk about staying in seedy motels, working with Kevin Smith, and Greg’s car collection. Gina then begins the news talking about a guy who bought new tires since it was cheaper than paying the fine to remove the boot. They also talk about Coco the gorilla being able to play bass guitar, and the time Greg opened a frozen yogurt shop. As the show wraps up, the guys discuss the record week of the TSA confiscating weapons from travelers, and the news that many British parents are allowing their kids to drink booze at single digit ages.
