Adam opens the show with the standard intro, Drew says he hasn’t spoken with Adam since Sonny’s bicycle accident.

Adam is now telling Drew about his son avoiding bikes for the first 12 years of his life, Adam says he got some collapsible bikes that Kimmel gave to them.

Drew asks about Natalia and her history of rising bikes, Adam explains she’s naturally gifted with balance and he’s anal retentive with everything.

 

Adam is now sharing how he tried to teach Sonny to ride a bike, how things ended up with him tearing up and finding difficult going half speed.

Adam explains someone brought up his “Voltaire” method for teaching a model to drive a manual transmission in a Dodge Viper as a bit for his old Car Show.

Adam says what actually went on was he kicked everyone’s ass, he shares how things really went down before the producers got ahold of the footage and changed the narrative.

 

Adam cites his brown stereo and how he destroyed incentive for theft by painting it, Drew has a take that he prefaces before a live read.

Drew says he would think that teaching someone to drive a stick would be teaching them how to transition between the accelerator and the clutch.

Adam says you can’t teach someone that, it’s a feeling and he cites standing on a yoga ball and how he got the ability back.

Drew is getting how Adam teaching her to push the clutch in would help teach her how things worked, Adam says everything was fine and the hack producers made it seem close, Adam kicked everyone’s ass.

 

Adam says someone told him to teach Sonny to learn to coast down a sloped grass hill, he realized how much that made sense and it resulted in Sonny learning how to ride.

Adam is now going over the injury and how it all went down, Sonny has no idea how to fall and didn’t know to let go of the handlebars, he was too scared to let go.

Drew is reacting like crazy, this is a great recounting of the story.

 

Drew asks if Sonny was back at school, Adam explains he wants him back and the ironic moment where Lynette was reading a note from the school about Sonny’s potential that is untapped due to his absences.

Drew’s reaction is priceless.

Chris is sharing how Sonny was saving his loose tooth for school during the week, so he could use it to get sent to the office and miss class time.

 

Drew says the “stay at home” plan would not fly at his house, just so he knows.

Adam is sharing how Lynette overrides his requests for Sonny to return to class, he brings up how people presume he doesn’t think things through as he can make snap decisions.

Adam says his wife does love too much but that’s how things are and he jokes about Sonny repeating the 6th grade.

 

Adam is sharing how he’s trying to convince Sonny to go to school with a black eye before it fades.

 

1st Caller Mike, he is a big fan and he wants to know about a particular type of strep that pregnant women can contract.

They go super in depth on his daughter, Adam has a funny Chuck Woolery joke.

Mike tells them about his daughter and the hole in her heart, he wants to know if he can avoid paying the medical bills without having to threaten to sue or mention malpractice.

Drew tells him to consult with an attorney and says there may not be a case here.

 

2nd Caller Jeff, he wants Adam and Drew’s take on Gordon Hayward’s horrific leg injury.

Adam is now telling Gary not to play the clip, saying he doesn’t want to see it and Adam shares his fear of Achilles tendons snapping, explaining how it always seems to come out of nowhere.
