Adam opens the show to an excellent ‘Bill and Ted’ themed intro inspired by today’s guest the great Alex Winter.
Adam says that Alex worked with Jimmy Kimmel and Adam welcomes the gang along with Matt Atchity, BB has a Gina #TopDrop.
Adam reveals he’s never seen ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ nor ‘Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle’ and he asks which is better, they’re very different actually and Adam should see both, he should’ve seen Bill and Ted 20 years ago and Harold and Kumar 10 years ago, especially after he fell in love with John Cho and Kal Penn the stars of the film.
Adam says that nostalgia is kind of insulting like beating off to an old girlfriend and he’s asking if this a movie that is a “right time” picture, Matt is praising the original film and calls them stoners, despite the lack of pot use on screen and the “coded” implications.
Dawson praises the film and Adam is calling for the Rotten Tomatoes scores for both films, they both have mid and high 70’s scores with the critics, Adam says it’s almost a statistical tie between the audiences and the critics, a brilliant question posed by Adam.
Adam is giving out some plugs for the NYC live shows and his upcoming 4th book, he says the books on the NYT bestsellers list is the thing that blows him away the most, Adam says this will be a 4peat.
Adam is explaining how it’s much better to be a chick or gay dude in his business, you get to be made up and put in wardrobe, Adam is commenting on his son’s lack of interest in that stuff and how his daughter would love nothing more.
Adam is lamenting past trips to go buy clothes for projects and Matt is now suggesting a wardrobe double for Adam, BB plays a Norm MacDonald drop and Adam says it will finally get him out of the house.
Gina praises the cover of the latest book.

Adam is sharing his history with the franchise and says the 2nd one is great if you can get past the homoerotic overtones, Adam is now riffing about ‘Land of the Lost’ and Dawson’s ‘Kodo and Pod’ drop is played over and over as they talk about ‘Beastmaster’ and Matt is surprised that both Adam and BB don’t like the first Mad Max movie.
Adam is now calling for a group shot from Gary, Adam says that when he and BB agree on a movie being bad it means it’s bad.

1st Movie ‘Silent Night’ (1983)
Adam is riffing on Sondra Locke being so white she’s clear, good stuff.

2nd Movie ‘Rocky IV’ (1985)
Gina thinks the movie is great, Adam says this one of the movies that delivers exactly what it promises, and you must like ice cream to properly review this parlor.
Adam is now saying you should at least give credit for the Ivan Drago character and the casting, creating this guy from whole cloth.
Adam is now talking about the Rocky and Rambo 1980’s highway of filmmaking they devolved down, Adam says you must blame the 80’s and says it might be cocaine influencing culture and ruining things, BB thinks it must be.
Adam is now going in depth on ‘First Blood’ and they’re all now weighing in on Rocky IV.
Gina mocks the disgusted look Matt gave her after hearing her guess, Adam is back to the way the movie delivers its promise.
3rd Movie ‘Police Academy IV: Citizens on Patrol’ (1987)
Gina is amazed that 0 score, Adam is reading the critics consensus.
4th Movie ‘Lethal Weapon 4’ (1998)
Adam doesn’t think he even saw this movie and mocks the use of South African terrorists, Gina is unfamiliar with the series.
5th Movie ‘Live Free or Die Hard’ (2007)
Adam shares his problem with the lack of law enforcement reinforcements and other people in the movie, Adam is saying that movie had some of the most impressive grip strength t displays of any action movie.
Adam is talking about the initial appeal of John McClane and how they miss the point when they make him invincible, Adam is now asking why Justin Long, forgetting about his two amazing Classic Loveline visits, Adam says he’s super funny just not the leading man for action films.
Everyone freaks out to when they learn of the 82% pass of a score the movie got.
Matt praises Die Hard with a Vengeance and prefers it to this movie, Adam is saying the 51% that movie got was insane.
Adam wants to know the first one, its 92% and Adam wants to know how this one is just 10% off, BB takes the win, Adam in 2nd and Gina finishes 3rd.
Adam is now telling BB what he did wrong and jokes about what BB did right in life including meeting Adam and Christie, holy shit!

1st Caller Brian, his son mocked a buddy for being “beat by a girl” and explains his son was assigned an essay for that comment, despite just being in the 3rd grade.
Adam is now complaining about the snitches in life, citing the people who would tell Lynette things Adam said on Loveline to make her feel badly.
Adam is asking what the actual possible outcome of this could be, Brian explains it was the “sexist attitude” that resulted in the essay punishment.
Adam says we are creating an anti-little boy climate and preventing them from their biological needs to roughhouse with each other and joke around.
Brian tells him he will be doing all of the shaping of him, Matt shares a lesson for Dominic and Adam says he hates dudes that are pussies.
Adam is now describing how pussy is the worst ingredient in a guy and he hates guys who can’t rally, describing the guy who shows to give you a ride or help you move after a late night, keeping hid word despite the circumstances he’s found himself in.
2nd Caller Eric, he’s telling them about a neighbor who warms up his motorcycle extremely early every morning, Adam is now telling him to hold on and comments on the pollution people seem so obsessed with and mentions the “period/historical smoking” warnings for classic films.
Matt has a funny Churchill one liner, Adam is now making a point about noise pollution and back up beepers on municipal vehicles and garbage trucks.
Adam jokes about backhanding your kid in a sleep deprived rage and now asks Gary to get his book.
Adam is talking about the assholes who remove the baffles from their bikes and Adam is telling him to give everyone at least one warning before calling the cops.
Adam tells him to speak for the neighbors, Gary has the list of guys he can’t hang out with and now reads off the list.

3rd Caller Nigel, he compliments both of Adam’s movies and Adam is asking him where he hails from, Adam says he must love all of the Japanese cars in the Newman doc.
Nigel is bringing up the footage removed from both films, he jokes about James Dixon’s “cut it down to an hour” recommendation for the doc.
Adam jokes about another Japanese guy named Nigel and he shares his real name, Gina impresses everyone with some Japanese, nice.
Adam wants an extended edition of both movies, he promises all of it will be on the loaded Blu-Ray copies for both.

Alex is well versed at summing this up at this point, Adam is responding to the idea of it and wants to know how this stays hidden.
Alex says it’s just junk code hidden on the internet, he explains the government created a space in the dark web for positive uses and now Adam is asking about the Silk Road marketplace.
Alex says they had millions of users and were moving around small fortunes and top shelf narcotics.
Alex is raising some interesting questions about the theme of the film, he explains the things that did and did not get exchanged on the service.
Adam jokes about googling some illegal items that Alex says were not part of the Silk Road.
Gina gets Alex to get to the man accused to be the mastermind behind the marketplace, Alex says he will be sentenced in two weeks.
Adam is now sharing his theory on buying in bulk and how you could beat the “intent to distribute” charge, Alex tells them about attending the trial and the possibility that the kid charged with the crimes could spend the rest of his life in prison.
Adam is talking about the climate that changed between making movies in the last 8 years, Adam corrects BB that his kids visited the set of ‘The Hammer’ and he’s right.
Adam is asking Alex about funding and the modern landscape of making his documentaries.
Adam is now explaining how you should do a podcast related to the media people who listen to podcast consume, tech show over a moccasin repair show.
Alex is sharing how most of his interview subjects he got via the fund raising campaign.
Adam says the thing that about a documentary isn’t great at least you’re coached up on young violinists, Alex adds in the Balkans. Adam says it’s better than being out the same time while watching the 4th Die Hard movie.
Gina shares her love for ‘The Idiot Box’ and Adam says he feels like he and Alex are kindred spirits.

Adam is now riffing about the crazy publicity for North Korea and Alex is riffing up a storm, Gina has the rest of the details of the alleged execution.
Adam is now bringing up the idea of “national interventions” much like you would do with a friend suffering from an addiction.
Adam is now riffing as a country and jokes about the other nations and is giving an honest talk to North Korea about how their behavior affects the rest of the countries.
Adam is mocking the idea of the outrage among American citizens regarding fish they can’t even eat in comparisons to the people of North Korea.
2nd Story is on the new Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea collaboration inspired by ‘Earth Girls Are Easy’ and Gina chooses to instead just play the interlude to demonstrate the “acting” on display.
Adam asks if Britney Spears needs to always sound like she’s singing through a Roomba, Adam is joking about the desire to fuck a live human over a blow up doll, Alex has a hilarious reply, wow!
Gina and BB are both weighing in, Gina says it’s a “guttural fry” and not really singing, Adam is now commenting on porn vs. Cinemax soft core stuff.
Adam wants live performing not a record playing with them lip synching and miming to the song, Alex is sharing how a generation was emboldened by these examples in the music industry, Adam totally agrees and sums up his point.
3rd Story is on San Francisco, Adam interrupts to mock the new ‘San Andreas’ trailer and the fucked out destruction of the Golden Gate bridge in disaster movies.
Adam says this is the equivalent of soufflé humor and Alex responds knowingly, Adam blames it on people ripping off other shows and movies that established these lame premises.
Adam says the happiest person is Angelyne and mentions how her billboard are always destroyed on these movies.

BB tells them about what his wife cooked on Mother’s Day, Gina has the details about the new law that bans smokeless tobacco on the fields of all sporting events.
Adam says good, he doesn’t want to see it and explains why it’s not hypocrisy when he’s for smoking on the beach.
Adan is bringing up the plentiful time on the hands of baseball players, he calls it the worst sport ever and mocks the idiosyncratic compulsive behaviors they have based on superstitions.
Adam says for the 3 hours of the game the viewers and attendees in the stands own you, you can’t eat brisket nor fuck your wife during the game either.
Adam and Alex are riffing up a storm, this is hilarious.
Alex talks about the experience in when viewing it from the stands, Adam is mocking the players union for the league not weighing in about the health concerns for their players.
Adam says good for you San Francisco and says everything else about them is wrong, but this part is good.
Adam is talking about chewing tobacco is passed down the ranks and unlike video games making you violent, if you look up to a guy you will try what he does.
BB confirms that all of his baseball buddies tried chewing tobacco.
Adam is telling the story of the time Beth Ringwald mistakenly got him and friends loose rolling tobacco instead of the chewing variety.
Gina tells them about the first time she tried chewing tobacco.
4th Story is on the total revenue of the Mayweather vs. Pacquiáo fight
Adam is now trying to recommend a very solid fight, he says it was a much better bout than the big one.
Adam explains why you want to hear “is there any way this is going to the scorecards!?” and the laughing when a fight is going on, it means you’re in for a spectacular bout.
