Adam opens the show fresh from his first practice out at Long Beach, BB has a nice “Hector” #TopDrop from Jo Koy.

Adam is now explaining how you can arrange all kinds of practice days, driving school etc. but you cannot arrange 50k people to show up and watch it, that part you cannot recreate and the adrenaline it produces is insane.

Adam breaks down the competition and Gina asks about the hardest turns, Adam jokes about the turn 1, he’s going over the practice and BB asks what happens since this is less rudimentary as everyone is experienced.

 

Adam is going over how they are being smart this year and protecting the cars in practice.

Adam welcomes Matt Atchity to the show and Adam says he doesn’t qualify well but he races solid and as we all know podiums or wins from time to time.

Matt is now asking about the qualifications and Gina has her own follow ups.

 

BB asks about them staggering the starts for the pros vs. Celebrities, but this year there is no Wanda Sykes to slow things down.

Adam is once again declaring there could be a wreck this year, Chris quotes Frankie Muniz and his desire to get pole position.

Adam talks about the charity guy who does the race every year Dave Pasant, who has lost about 75lbs and it translates to about 1sec shaved off per lap.

 

Adam talks about the celebs who also race and how dedicated some of the guys are, Adam mentions William Fichtner and BB asks if he can get him booked on the show.

Gina thinks he was on ‘Thirtysomething’ and BB mocks her for the oldest possible IMDB credit she could pull.

Matt talks about racing on that course in video games and asks some specifics about the width of the track, BB jokes about things suddenly making sense.

Adam has Fondiler get on mic to talk about the wedding, Gina shares how Ray was playing the breathing game at Matt’s wedding and Adam jokes about him doing that while employed by ABC, he played the breathing game at Disney.

BB says he can hold his breath for a long time and was willing to let Ray do it so he could really freak him out.

Adam says Matt’s vows were great and he comments on having it committed to memory.

Gina brings up Matt’s dad singing and Adam has a funny stark contrast bit of his dad’s last conversation with him.

 

Adam has a hilarious “are you racing now” quote from his dad who thought Adam might be tearing up some hot laps while answering his call.

Adam brings up the “does he like racing” question everyone has about Adam’s dad Jim when he brings this stuff up, Adam asks “does he like me?” and talks about how much attention one can get and describes winning the events and the champagne etc.

Adam is talking about the movie cliché and cites ‘The Program’ and the scene where the player notices the empty seat where his father is supposed to be watching him.

 

Adam is now riffing about his dad in comparison to most people’s fathers in these clichéd sports movie.

Adam praises Matt’s family and tells him how amazing they all are, wow!

Adam jokes about having Matt freshening up his beer during the ceremony and compares it to the civil war and using racist language even if you were on the right side of history.

 

Gina says Matt’s wife looked like a princess and Matt says he couldn’t have asked for a better night.

BB brags about their pie bar, Adam skipped it as he is on his diet and now he wants credit for the wedding pie phenomena, he wants a slice of credit for that.

Adam asks if anyone wants to go to New Zealand and explains how the Millen brothers are trying to talk him into flying out there for a racing event, Adam suggests they might be able to book a live show.

1st Caller Tom, he wants to know what Adam would do to improve baseball, 50 game season, no designated positions, he wants the guy swinging the bat to be the guy running the bases.

Adam name drops Ricky Henderson as one of the guys who could hit and run, Gina brings up his bungie suspender idea for catching the drunken fans who fall over while trying to catch a foul ball.

 

2nd Caller Andrew wants to know about states that post death tolls on the highway.

 

3rd Caller Robert, he asks if Adam would rather make love to a porn star or a Victoria’s Secret model, Adam explains his reasoning.

Adam has a spank bank logic that makes perfect sense, Adam asks about getting ahold of a 22yr old Heidi Klum, Gina has an impression of a porn star “yeaagghh!” and Adam is now doing an improv scene with her hilarious voice.

Adam jokes about ejaculating and telling and they move on.

 

4th Caller Matt, he has a buddy who is an executive for bank and is mandated to take a two-year vacation so they can go through his work computer, he wants to know what Adam would do if he had two weeks off.

Adam says he would need a construction or car project, he likes projects and has noticed that’s how he spends his free time.

Adam says he doesn’t have a hammock wiring, he likes napping and drinking don’t get him wrong but he likes getting things done, he’s excited about home improvement and changing things.

 

Jake Gyllenhaal Movies Edition

 

Adam is bringing up the 170 million opening weekend for Batman V Superman and Matt is now bringing up the various arguments and the history of the release schedule.

Adam asks if the movie is as bad as everyone says, he then riffs about the rapper ‘Common’ taking a page from ‘Captain America’ and picking a more impressive name.

Adam reveals Sonny has seen it twice and Matt talks about the insane 68% drop in box office, Matt says it’s not that bad but it has about as much narrative as a Monster Jam truck event.

 

1st Movie ‘Bubble Boy’ (2001)

Adam talks about the original premise used in ‘The Boy in the Plastic Bubble’ and comments on John Travolta’s romance with Diana Hyland.

They all make their guesses and move on.

 

2nd Movie ‘Donnie Darko’ (2001)

Adam has never seen it; BB is convinced he would like it.

Adam predicts the critics liked it, BB says it’s worth checking out.

 

3rd Movie ‘Brokeback Mountain’ (2005)

Adam jokes about being homophobic and having great respect for them, like his fear of wolverines.

Adam and BB have a solid “we’ll never know” riff and Adam admits he’s never seen the movie nor the movie ‘Personal Best’ and BB mentions Anna Farris appearing the movie after Matt brings up Randy Quaid.

BB has a new drop of Adam saying he’s homophobic, nobody stepped on it, it’s a clean drop.

4th Movie ‘The Prince of Persia’ (2010)

Adam asks about every actor having their one workout movie, that poster will last forever despite the awful script.

BB says like Adrien Brody in ‘Predators’ and they all make their guesses.

 

5th Movie ‘Southpaw’ (2015)

Adam hasn’t seen the movie and talks about that being the original working title for ‘The Hammer’ and they all make their final guesses.

 

Gary has the results and Adam takes the win.

They’re back from break with a fan submitted song about his big announcement.

Tyler Labine is returning for his 2nd appearance on the ACS, he was last on ACS #1244.

Tyler is enjoying his 2nd Mangria and they explain “it’s for guests” and Tyler tells him about his role opposite Kristen Bell and plugs his Hulu show ‘Deadbeat’ and then segues back to the movie.

 

They talk about ‘The Boss’ and Tyler tells them about adding Kal Penn to the Hulu series, Adam jokes about his name sounding like a great place to graduate and get your degree from.

Tyler is telling them about the new Voltron he’s starring in, he explains it’s from DreamWorks animation and Netflix.

Adam is talking about Melissa McCarthy in ‘This is 40’ and her hilarious scene in the principal’s office, he once again reiterates that it’s a solid movie and people were too hard on it.

1st Story is on the March Madness Championship game, she has some audio of the final call and the upset.

BB is now doing some commentary and explaining how it was a made for TV moment.

Tyler comments on his Canadian sports interest, Gina talks about the Carolla Digital March Madness brackets that were run by Nick, Matt Fondiler took first place and Gina explains how she tried to back out of it but ended up taking 2nd place.

 

Adam talks about not bringing cash with him to Kimmel’s house for the old Football Sunday events when they lived near each other in the hills.

Nick is on mic and explains how well Matt did in the brackets and gives him some props.

 

2nd Story is on a United Airlines flight attendant who pulled the emergency slide and vanished, Adam asks about people and wonders if they’re going nuts because we are examining things from far too many angles.

Adam jokes about Chris Hardwick hosting the Talking Dead and how he might have a future conversation with his not yet existent grandkids explaining how he’s connected to the show, because he hosted a show about the show, funny riff.

 

Adam has a killer “yes I farted” from the pilot trying to divert blame for encouraging the flight attendant to bail via emergency slide, good stuff.

Adam jokes about pepper spraying pigeons if he packed it on the hip like a cop, he brings up Cousin Sal and his stun gun at the Man Show offices.

Adam says this is the woman’s workspace, it’s not that big of a deal that she used a slide, it’s like your office is to you.

 

3rd Story is on some newly highlighted rules regarding Taxi Cab driver conduct, including not ejaculating on customers.

Adam has a killer joke about the plastic divider and a nice “just the tip” comment as he talks about how morally bankrupt cab drivers are, among the most immoral people on earth.

Adam says driving a cab is the last stop for adult males who need to be employed.

 

4th Story is on Chelsea Handler’s latest topless statement against Donald Trump and Adam asks how her new show is doing, Tyler is commenting on it and Gary has all of the details.

Tyler says his kid got bamboozled into being on an episode of ‘Chelsea Does’ and Tyler shares the story about how it all came to be and what actually went down.

Tyler says she’s a real life Ursula from The Little Mermaid and Adam asks if Tyler got crap for letting his daughter be on the show.

 

Adam tells Gary to look for it and Tyler shares why he feels badly, Adam says he doesn’t have any footage from 0 – 31 of himself, he has a killer Dick Gautier reference and moves on to Allen Funt.

They’re watching the footage of Chelsea scaring Tyler’s daughter and embarrassing her on TV, they’re doing light commentary over the clip.

Adam brings up his bit from ‘The Man Show’ sketch ‘Sensei Adam’ and Tyler mentions Jonah Hill, who wasn’t involved in the film but was present when BB and Adam went to see it, odd Great Magnet timing.

BB says the preschool in the footage is right next to his wife’s parents power tool store.

 

 

They’re now watching ‘Sensei Adam’ and reacting to it.

Gary has some more info about it and Tyler says it’s next level funny, Adam explains how they were able to shoot the clean stuff around the kids and then do the less clean stuff when the kids weren’t present.

They wrap the news and Adam cites that as one of the sketches that ‘The Man Show’ did but never gets credit for, aside from boobs and beers the series had some of the greatest sketch comedy in TV history.
