Adam opens the show with a “Keeping it going” intro, BB has a #TopDrop from Dr. Bruce about diarrhea, Adam welcomes Gina and Matt Atchity is in studio as well.

Matt teases his heavily prepared Rotten Tomatoes Game, Adam says Rancho Cucamonga again, this time adding a fucking.

Adam is telling them about his calf cramp that and Gina brings up Adam’s potassium intake, Adam laments that bananas make you fat and talks about people who used to sit around eating pot roast while smoking.

Adam is describing the audiences at Yankee Stadium as 130lb dudes living off of straight garbage, he makes a point about how sad it is that we live in an age of bad fruit and vegetables, BB further helps him expounds on it with him.

Adam says he suffers cramps and injuries in silence and asks BB if he’s the same as he experienced a lot of these cramps while going through cancer treatments.

Adam is making a point about being shot and how it doesn’t feel as we imagine, it seemingly hurts quite a bit less than hitting your big toe on a cold bedframe in the early hours of the morning.

Adam is sharing his maximum pain threshold theory, he jokes about asking 50 Cent about this idea and says he would agree about the toe pain being worse than being shot.

Adam has a gruesome farm accident dismemberment example, Matt brings up ball pain and Adam is now addressing that and how it’s not a guarantee it will hurt.

Gina asks about how a testicle injury actually travels, the pain of it.

Adam and BB explain “the loins” but don’t describe how it can knock the wind out of you nor how it can be felt up near your solar plexus on occasion if the injury hits a specific way, regardless of the amount of force being used.

Gina says Sack Tap, Adam is describing his email form Bill Simmons about ‘Furious 7’ and jokes about getting emails back that don’t answer all of your question, BB says that’s called “Augusting” and Adam is asking Matt if this movie is as good as people are claiming.

BB is asking if there is any franchise that has gotten better with age in the action genre like this, Adam is sharing how he pitched the idea of a simul-pod where they could record a “PG-13” show and swap in different commercials.

Gary is reading the emails, Gina has a killer reaction and Adam is using this to describe his difficult email exchanges, Matt asks if he has a reading problem, Adam says no and explains he’s very busy and hasn’t fully digested the information.

Adam is now sharing a basic “let’s go to dinner” example and says technology has marched forward faster than we can keep up with and BB says he excited for the podcast.

BB asks if they’re doing a show on Sunday.

Matt is now reading further emails from Simmons, Adam is saying they could have recorded at Adam’s place, BB jokes about the slave labor at the warehouse.

Adam is explaining how this is the beginning of the odyssey and Matt is now sharing how they might approach this with a follow up email attempt.

Adam predicts this movie will be packed on Friday, Adam is describing the year before the first ‘The Fast and the Furious’ movie was released and how he was at the L.A. Auto Show, he’s describing the guy who resembles the Sham Wow guy trying to sell aftermarket junk to uninterested attendees.

Adam shares his initial reaction the first movie, Matt says it’s a surprise hit and was inspired from some articles about guys who did these types of street races.

Matt talks about Vin’s two other franchises at the time of this film, citing ‘Pitch Black’ and his character Riddick, Adam is now trying to conjure the description of that as a franchise, he calls him “blind” despite having a very different tune when Vin guested on Classic Loveline.

CLL #1145 THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2000 – GUEST: VIN DIESEL • HOST: ADAM, DR. DREW

Matt is now talking about Tokyo Drift but he’s not bringing up the timeline, Adam shares his take on the end of the film and the Vin Diesel cameo, Matt argues that Tokyo Drift is better than part 4 ‘Fast and Furious’ and even though Adam has been schooled in the timeline he’s forgetting about it.

The movies go 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 3, and 7. With Vin Diesel’s short film taking place between 1 and 4 and explaining most of the backstory of Dom and Letty from the end of the first movie where they take off.

The Character ‘Han’ was played by the same actor who played ‘Han’ in Justin Lin the director and Carolla Superfans earlier work ‘Better Luck Tomorrow’ a very solid movie, his character is essentially the same guy from that movie, killed off in part III, then brought back in 4, 5 and 6 which time shifted part III Tokyo Drift to right after the end of part 6 then augmenting a key scene of part III to feature the enemy from Furious 7.

I actually explained this entire timeline to Adam prior to the release of Fast 5 while he was on tour and we were in Denver walking to Starbucks, he has referenced that since.

Adam is now riffing about ‘Fast and Furious’ and hitting a lot of the same bits from his Basic Cable Commentary 3 ‘Fast and Furious’ (2009) which you can purchase for only 99 cents and watch the movie along with Adam, it’s totally worth it.

Adam shares what he saw on Kimmel regarding an 8th film in the series, as claimed by Vin Diesel and BB and Matt comment on this being a new Bond like franchise that could go on for decades.

Adam and Gina are doing a Lifelock live read

Q and Ace

1st Caller Jay, he wants to know if Adam heard about the passing of Robert Z’Dar who was in one of Adam’s favorite movies ‘Tango and Cash’ which desperately needs a full length Basic Cable Commentary with Dameshek, like now.

Adam is now describing a scene from the movie and they’re playing it for them in studio, Adam is doing some live commentary.

Gina has a funny point about the sequence and Adam talks about the huge actor who went through the windshield and says it might be a stuntman.

Adam is further riffing on the movie and the notion that one could be responsible for every criminal in a prison being incarcerated.

Adam is asking Jay about Robert, they find out he was 64 years old and not 50 as Jay presumed.

Adam is presenting how confident Stallone appears that the semi-truck will stop, Adam says it takes a big man to tell Bryan that he needs to apologize to you in regards to his comments towards Gina, Gina is paying attention and Adam is asking about the special bullets as brought up by BB.

Adam says that BB was right he used special bullets that didn’t penetrate the windshield, Adam is now addressing the special bullets and Adam commends Gina on her eagle eye.

Adam says there was something cut out of this movie that was cut from this movie that makes the special bullets scene make sense, kind of.

Gin has a funny “Who cares if some bitch 30 years from now figures it out line” aimed at her from the executives making the movie back in time.

2nd Caller Debbie, she’s asking Adam about his take on adults going on vacations with their parents, she asks if Adam wouldn’t want his kids to want to vacation with him as an adult, he has a funny explanation of what he would like, which is them to ask, him to say no, then for them to feel like a bullet was dodged.

Adam is now using his lawyer who was going on a cruise with his mom at 39 to make a point about him grafting his familial experience on others, assuming they must be in fear of spending time with their parents and how horrible it would be, great reactions from Matt and Gina as Adam fake screams in protest/disgust at different details like sharing a hotel room with one’s parent.

Adam is talking about his daughter and how she’s turned the corner since her friends have discovered her dad is famous and on a show, Adam is sharing a simple lesson on human psychology and how now that he is seen as esteemed by others his daughter is able to see him in a new light, though he uses far crasser terms.

Adam takes it back to Debbie and then jokes about vacationing in hell, BB jokes about Adam’s daughter writing a tell-all book.

Adam wraps up with Debbie and Gina has muted yet killer reaction.

3rd Caller Greg, he wants to know if it’s ok to recline your seat while traveling in economy on a flight, Gina says she never does it as it makes her uncomfortable, and Adam says he’s always worried about the person behind him hating him but he views this as a chain reaction of partially tilting dominos.

Adam says he thinks that none of the seats on Southwest should recline, Greg is giving his take and says they provide a button for a reason.

Adam is now making a point about this vs. people who have service dogs.

Adam doesn’t like the people who are active and use the top/back of your seat as a handrail of sorts. Greg won the bet.

4th Caller Julio is now suggesting a game for Mike Lynch to run with, fictitious Mexican band names, he is giving them 3 possible names, one is made up.

Everyone guesses right the first time, Adam declares it a bogus came as he won on his first try, Adam jokes about him hosting a game show for Dick Clark productions, BB gives him an A for effort.

Adam is joking about Spanish TV programming and the rule of thumb for having a busty female co-host/presenter and BB jokes that’s just like podcasts, which Gina picks up and runs with, solid but possibly offensive if taken to be serious, still hilarious though!

Matt asks if Adam has a future in Spanish language television, Adam jokes that you can’t go wrong with titties and explains that he’s pitching Julio as a Spanish language presenter.

Adam is further riffing about the abundance of titties and bright colors on Spanish language TV.

Adam is doing a Squatty Potty live read

Adam is asking if you want the cutting edge in pooping, good stuff.

Adam is talking about his new movie ‘Zombeavers’ and the crazy number of views the trailer has gotten on YouTube, Adam hasn’t seen the movie and messes up the title, Adam says he called Jordan Josh earlier and blames his sleep deprivation.

Adam once again mentions Rancho fucking Cucamonga and comments on how he is committing his ultimate sin of not viewing the project of someone guesting on the show, does he only factor that in for his personal acquaintances, super famous people or athletes? Is he adopting a new rule of thumb?

Jordan explains how the idea came about and how they shot on Disney’s ranch, Adam asks how they cleared that location and got investors for the project.

Jordan now comments on allegedly shooting a topless scene on the Disney beach, could be CG.

Jordan talks about a producer he knew who worked on ‘Cabin Fever’ and how he got involved with the studio that greenlit his pitch.

Adam is asking Jordan about his standup pursuits and next project, he talks about his own version of ‘Road Hard’ but is taking it back to the time he spent working on ‘The Man Show’.

Jordan is lamenting the lack of a clear structure for payment when helming a film like this, Adam comments on a producer who made money off the project asking about the soundtrack to the movie and he had Matt go tell him to do it, Adam is too busy and has spent too much time already for no pay.

Jordan has his own anecdote of something like this, Jordan asks about having to fight for every choice in the film while being treated like a crazy person for wanting to edit and improve the film.

Adam is asking if Jordan has any old ‘Man Show’ stories and comments on his first appearance on the show in 2011, he says early days but it was nearly halfway into the run so far.

Jordan asks Adam his memories of him, Adam says he had the greatest scam going and he talks about the “cheap guy” in the office and Jordan rightfully names Josh Gardner and Adam brings up Frank Murphy and how they would have to figure out who was going to pay for Frank who was making more than both of them.

Adam is talking about the deli ‘Beachwood Market’ on Beachwood Canyon and Adam brings up how Jordon would only eat at this one place, refusing to “do group food” and now Adam is further describing his scam.

Adam is explaining how they would try and come up with ideas for new bit, Jordan tells them about Cousin Sal repacking his writing packets each year to see if Jimmy would give him a different grade/even notice.

Adam says he was black marker, Jimmy was blue when it came to the cue cards, he says Jimmy is a great writer, reader and speller and Adam realized that Jimmy was so good at this he could read Adam’s stuff and do perfect unlike Adam.

Jordan is now quoting the joke warehouse/joke factory line Adam uses, Adam is talking about guys who buy entire comedy acts from other guys.

Adam says that at one point David Koechner mentions his health cleanse and Adam said the name of another beer manufacturer, which Miller objected to.

Adam found out that Miller owns “Leinenkugel beer” and has a great series of replies, about how these little things add up to ruin a good movie and need to be monitored and adjusted.

Adam is giving out the plugs and wrapping up the show, no news today.
