Adam is opening the show with a spirited intro and BB has a nice #TopDrop of Adam singing the ‘Sound of Music’ and he welcomes Matt Atchity back to the show.

Adam talks about fans playing the games and believing any of the scores shared with him on twitter, BB talks about a guy getting a -25 score.

Adam is bringing up the replay gimp as always comes up with he’s guesting on Rich Eisen’s show.

 

Adam is commenting on watching ‘Inside The NFL’ last night and talks about seeing the coach from the panthers asking the ref about the rule on the field and the catch that was taken away from them due to a bad call.

Adam is back to his replay gimp idea and addresses BB’s comments about the ref sharing the info, Adam is now riffing about Home Depot and teases the arrival of Dana Gould.

Adam is telling them about the dog trainer coming by yesterday and the rules they learned, don’t say no to a dog and comments on how trainers always tell you what you’re doing wrong to make their expense seem worthwhile.

 

Adam is going over how you’re supposed to put your hands on your chest and not put your hands out, everything you do instinctually is bad form, like a golf swing.

Adam is talking about how Phil behaves while the guy is present and then knocks Sonny over as soon as the dude leaves.

Adam has the clip of Ron Rivera talking to the NLF referee, Adam tells Chris he can wait to find the actual audio bit, BB says better to be right than fast, wow!

 

Adam is addressing BB’s refrainment about the referee being so honest about the trivial nature of the call and they play the actual clip.

Gina asks if it was a “fuck you” yes delivered by the ref, BB asks Matt for a clue about the game and mocks his recent string of clues.

Matt tells them the clue of Ben Stiller, Adam talks about ‘Zoolander’ for a bit and they move on.

 

Q and Ace

1st Caller Faith, mistyped as “Faiph” and Adam is trying to pronounce it, they ask her about her name, Adam is commenting on the “L” in her name, BB and Gina both give him a perplexed “huh.”

Adam is talking about the modern era of goofy individualized names, Adam is once again bringing up the “L” and Adam is digging this learning disability hole.

Caelan is now on mic explaining how the ph and th confused him. Everyone is losing it and BB proclaims it the greatest moment in podcasting history.

 

Adam is blaming the cold medicine for his inclusion of an “L” we get a nice cackle from Gina and Adam is sharing how he learned it was Bon Scott and not “Von” as he had never met a guy named Bon before.

They riff up a storm and mock Adam, Atchity even gets an L burn in on Ace.

Adam is asking Faith about her hobbies and passions, she is sharing her idea for “shit they never told you” a book about life and work.

 

BB thinks she’s hot and Adam is asking her about her aesthetics, Adam asks if she has anyone she looks like besides immediate neighbors.

They’re looking at a picture of her, Adam says BB just told him he would fuck her and used their nonverbal code of inner thigh taps.

She is open to anything the staff want to contribute to her book, Adam talks about the industry and the need for talented female writers.

Gina brings up the twitter accounts that have led to writing careers and he comments on talking to an electronics contractor, Steve from ‘The Adam Carolla Project’ and his need looking for talented electricians for his business.

2nd Caller Kevin, he’s a pool guy calling from outside a jobsite, Adam asks him about the barking dog in the background.

Adam asks if he’s a pool guy because he wants to be one or if he fell into this career, his silence speaks volumes in reply.

Adam is sharing the story of the pool guy he complimented for not tossing the leaves in the dirt near the house, he says the pool man has almost 0 oversight and get away without working hard.

 

Gina asks how many pool guys he’s gone through and he talks about the way Disney builds facades around equipment buildings and explains how the last pool guy refused to shut the doors to the pool equipment room.

Adam says 71% of our society is like this and completely incompetent fuck ups you went to high school with, they ask Kevin about his background and he tells them about trying to be a teacher and how he was told he shouldn’t be around kids as a male.

Adam gets the bias for female teachers for young kids and BB says this is the educated version of “The Teacher hates me” and now Adam is talking about a guy he spoke to who is retiring and about 2-3 youngers than him, getting 75% of his salary.

 

Adam comments on the benefits of union jobs and for teachers, when it comes to retiring at nearly fully pay, none of us have that same benefit, why do we demand it for cops and teachers.

Kevin tells them about his attempts to get into the electrician’s union and Adam talks about how tough it is as a white man trying to find a gig in the modern era of diversity based hiring.

Adam is telling him about having a telescoping pool handle in your hand and how that goes hand in hand with failure in life.

 

3rd Caller Kelly, he’s calling back about his “Trivia Lift” gameshow idea

Kelly tells them about his two offers for this series, Adam schools him on the scam of backend deals and lost points, Adam comments on Michael Moore suing the Weinstein brothers over his missing backend cash.

 

4th Caller Alex, he wants to ask Adam about his favorite Italian dishes to eat/make.

Adam says you can’t go wrong with Lasagna; Adam is talking about why BB doesn’t order it as often as he’d like to.

Adam asks what Lasagna broken, was the old version sans pumpkin puree not tasty enough.

Adam is now on an “our version” rant about chefs jacking off onto menus, Adam says he will take regular red and gold lasagna.

Adam says in the plain old non-Falutin dept., not much beats olive oil, noodles and parmesan cheese.

Adam has them bring Dana Gould in for the game.

Ben Stiller Movies Edition

 

1st Movie ‘Reality Bites’ (1994)

A film Dana Gould is in, he was cut out and Matt asks if he’s really in then, he is in the credits.

Adam is talking about seeing an old ‘Ben Stiller Show’ bit where he did ‘The Color of Money’ about bowling, he shares the fun interaction with Ben where he asked him what else he had been up to in the past 25yrs.

Adam is talking about the time he was in a terminal during a bomb threat and he jokes with Jim Brown about him blocking for him as they make a break for it and Jim’s super serious response that ruined it.

Adam mixes this movie up with ‘Singles’ and they all weigh in.

 

2nd Movie ‘There’s Something About Mary’ (1998)

Adam brings up the sores and lesions on Chris Elliot’s face and how that was the only part he didn’t care for, he thought it was ab it much.

Adam is dead nuts on with 83% and Dana continues to have confusion regarding scoring/guessing.

 

3rd Movie ‘Meet The Parents’ (2000)

Adam praises the comedy and how it never went over the top with premises, he says he felts the comedy chops coming from De Niro on this one.

Gina sings the praises of Teri Polo and her “super dirty” persona.

Matt comments on Dana’s score guessing method and OCD boxes surrounding his initial guess.

 

Adam says this is the way he feels about SNL and he defends the show and explains the difficulty in staging live sketch comedy.

Dana brings up the limits of set building and the space in the studio.

 

4th Movie ‘Dodgeball: A true Underdog Story’ (2004)

Another movie that makes Adam believe that Ben has body dysmorphia, he compares it to Tom Cruise riding motorcycles in all of his movies.

Matt gets Adam to riff about writing motorcycle scenes into moves to make him more likely to bite on them and get the movie made.

Adam didn’t like this movie due to the monkey wrench assault sequences.

 

5th Movie ‘The Watch’ (2012)

Adam is trying to figure out who the cast is, he says that Richard Ayoade looks like he could be his son and they all weigh in with guesses.

Dana talks about the alien element of the movie and jokes that Stiller must be standing on an apple barrel in the movie poster due to his relative height compared to the giant stature of Vince Vaughn.

Adam is asking Matt about the latest releases, he saw Zoolander and has limited comments about it.

Dana brings up the late Drake Sather and Adam tries to find out how he died, Dana ain’t telling as he was friends with the guy it seems.

Hopefully Dana isn’t taking offense at Adam’s brazen curiosity and lack of emotional subtlety ala Bill Burr and his misunderstanding last time he guested on the show.

They’re back from break with a rad made up trailer for a recent made up movie ‘Tears of Red Velvet’ and some fantastic VO from Dawson.

Adam is now asking Dana about his adopted daughters from China, he wants to know if he can head over there and “grab a boy” and now Dana sums up the one child policy of China and how it backfired on them and resulted in an imbalance of female power.

They all talk about the way you can ride something for a while and how it will ultimately backfire, China compared to OJ Simpson and his post murder freedom.

Dana says his kids could not be more normal and he praises his 13yr old.

 

Adam wants to know about his kids and the assumption of certain traits or skills due to their ethnicity, do other people assume his kids play the flute or piano.

Dana confirms the stereotype and credits his wife for them being so cultured.

Dan now quotes his Chinese daughter mocking the Japanese immigrant kids with some “ching chong” comedy, hilarious explanation from Adam and Dana.

 

Dana said he had a weird realization about Huell Howser, he didn’t have a wife… not that, if you slow him down he starts to sound like Bill Paxton, he demonstrates for everyone, wow he’s right!

Adam comments on the time Huell interviewed him at L.A. Valley college about AIDS, funny candy riff form Adam.

Adam is talking about 5 gallon buckets and their universal use for all kinds of storage and transportation.

Dana calls Adam the T.S. Elliot of bucket volume, Dana riffs about Huell holding onto people for a beat too long, if I hold you I become you!

Adam is sharing how Jimmy Kimmel’s late uncle Frank would grip you while chatting you up, so you couldn’t escape from his verbal barrage.

 

3rd HJ – Huell samples some fruit, Adam and Dana provide some light commentary.

Adam and Dana are alternating insane riffs from the POV of Huell.

 

4th HJ – Huell Smells some Flowers, they all mock it and Dana jokes about this being the same dialogue from ‘Taxi Driver’ and he quotes the “Are you talking to me” scene as Huell.

Adam jokes about him never editing anything and now Dana pitches another Basic Cable Classics Commentary for ‘Taxi Driver’ with him in character as Huell.

They wrap the bit.

 

Gina’s News

1st Story is Lee Baca’s sentencing for his perjury.

Adam says they shouldn’t have Sheriffs in today’s world as it instills those with the job with a false sense of authority, it’s an outdated concept.

Adam is riffing about the gay flag on the side of the squad cars and the west Hollywood shape they used, hilarious “looks like you dropped your keys” line from Dana and Adam says it looks like a huge Rubix Cube exploded.

 

Adam jokes about living in Glendale and having an Armenian sheriff, Adam talks about people choosing prison related career paths, you see humans kept in a cage all day.

Adam is bringing up the band Sherriff and calls them one of the best 1980’s tool tunes bands.

Adam says they have a song right up there with ‘Sister Christian’ when it comes to songs if he’s witnessed rocking out to while driving he will have to drive to his death out of shame immediately.

 

They are now listening to ‘When I’m with You’ by Sherriff, Dana says that everyone today with very short hair and a giant beard will look just as ridiculous in 20yrs as these guys do now.

BB remarks on Dawson shaking his head at the high note closer, Gina wants Adam to sing that at her wedding reception.

Adam is saying this is part of his ‘Caillou’ theory and Sheriff must be from some strange French Canadian place, something is off.

 

2nd Story is on a man who brought his own homemade booze on a flight resulting in it being diverted, Gina has all of the details.

Adam asks some follow ups and they move on.

 

3rd Story is on the increase in people quitting their jobs, she talks about all of the available career paths and Adam asks why schools don’t approach the various industries and ask them about what jobs and skills are in the most demand.

Gina has some great follow up comments and they move on quickly again.

 

4th Story is on Kanye West’s most recent twitter tirade; Adam says he’s a middle aged Jewish performance artist pulling the wool over our eyes.

Gina has the ‘Bill Cosby is Innocent’ tweet and they move on.

 

5th Story is on Janice Dickinson and their case against Cosby regarding her rape, Dana is now sharing a joke from the playboy joke page in the 1980’s.

Dana is making a point about rape sensitivity and cultural changes over the past 20-30 years, Adam is now sharing a “giant cockroach fucking his wife” visual joke, Dana brings up ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Adam is back to the same issue of Hustler with the cockroach joke.

Adam is describing the “Larry’s Bird, Magic’s Johnson” joke on a flowing page.

Dana is now sharing a “she ain’t breathing Hef” story about Bill Cosby at the playboy Mansion back in the day.

 

Adam is talking about Bill Cosby’s TV series with him playing a teacher, he’s talking about ‘Hikky Burr’, the Grammy nominated theme song to ‘The Bill Cosby Show’.

Adam is talking about tempura and how quickly it goes bad, Dana quotes the movie ‘Godzilla’ and Adam is describing his tempura nap.

 

They’re all weighing in on reheating things, Adam says cobbler is better the next day not because it tastes better but because you’re eating it at a “naughty time” and Gina wraps the news to a drop of her proclaiming Bill Cosby’s innocence.

Adam asks about Kanye and his proclamation and mocks his fashion line that looks like pajamas you can wear in public, why is that fashion?
