Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam welcomes Mike August to the podcast to discuss getting a custom wrap job applied to his car. He also tells the story of chasing down a drunk driver who smashed into his car, selling his old car to Russian counterfeiters, and why he doesn’t think he needs Waze. Before heading out, August talks about how he became Burbank’s Citizen of the Month, and the guys discuss Kimmel’s prank mind. Later, Adam tells the gang about his latest Love Boat screening, and the guys call August back onto the show to break down the Jake Paul fight, as well as another freeway fight he once got into. Before the break, the guys take a fan phone call about new California PSAs, and Adam rants about regulation hypocrisy and the homelessness crisis.
Adam welcomes George Gallo back the podcast next, and the guys talk about their mutual friend, Nate Adams, as well as the filming of George’s new movie, ‘Vanquish’. The guys also go through this year’s Best Picture nominees, and talk about the legendary Cineramadome closing down. Later they discuss the slew of movies coming out later this summer, why the 70s were so great for entertainment, and the making of ‘Midnight Run’. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about deaths during the capitol riots, classes being cancelled in anticipation of the Derek Chauvin verdict, Sharon Osbourne’s conversation with Bill Maher, a Tesla Autopilot crash, Demi Lavato’s frozen yogurt complaints, and more on Tiger Wood’s car crash.
