Epic Rap Battles of History’s Peter Shukoff and Lloyd Ahlquist, plus RJ Bell

Show Summary

As the show opens up, the guys talk about how you manage things when you know you’re getting sick. Adam also gives an update on trying to maintain his new years resolution, and then takes a call from RJ Bell about his predictions for the Big Game. They also talk how the betting trends change as the game gets closer, and the history of prop betting. Later, Adam discusses the progress and release of his new standup special, and he points out a Great Magnet moment involving James Brolin.

Peter Shukoff and Lloyd Ahlquist are in studio next, and they talk with Adam about turning their love of music into a multi-million-subscriber YouTube channel. Adam asks how long it takes them to shoot an episode of ‘Epic Rap Battles of History’, and what happened when one of their videos upset people in Europe. Lloyd and Peter also tease some of the upcoming vids they’re exploring, and working with both Weird Al, and JB Smoove.

At the top of the news, Adam invents a very helpful new app to settle your arguments. Gina then reads news stories about Mark Geragos reacting to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Artie Lange’s arrest, and someone getting fat shamed on a plane. As the show wraps up, the guys react to a couple more news stories about Senator Rand Paul awarded $580,000 after being attacked by his neighbor, and KFC’s new Cheetos Sandwich.

Season 6 of ‘Epic Rap Battles’ returns this spring. For more info, follow the guys on Twitter @ERBofHistory.
