Show Summary
At the top of the show, Adam talks about the mediocre dreams he always has, and shares his experiences watching the new Transformers movie, as well as the Bill Murray documentary, on his round trip flight to DC. Adam also shows a funny video of his dog Phil, and the guys enjoy the next round of Banks Bracket Madness. After that, everyone plays a prank-themed round of the Rotten Tomatoes Game.
Gina starts the news talking about Nic Cage’s 4-day-marriage. They also discuss updates on Jussie Smollett, George Clooney’s hotel boycott, and Tom Hanks being cast in an upcoming Elvis movie.
Adam then welcomes Emilio Estevez to the studio. The chat for a while about the film ‘Judgment Night’, in which Adam happened to be a stand-in. Emilio then talks about the 10-year-journey to make his new movie, ‘The Public’, and how you go about making independent films efficiently. Later, Adam rants about the homeless, and the guys talk about people being uncomfortable when they can’t categorize your career. Other topics of conversation include their mutual friend Alec Baldwin, what their next big projects are, and Emilio’s relationship with his father. As the conversation wraps up, Adam commends Emilio for not weaponizing his heritage, and just doing projects that interest him.
