Staff member Rudy calls in to give a ‘boots on the ground’ perspective on the Dave Chappelle show at Varsity Theatre which was moved after First Avenue cancelled. Wrestler and actor Paul Wight AKA ‘The Big Show’ calls in to talk about his new movie, ‘Marcus’, how Danny Bonaduce and Hulk Hogan were responsible for his wrestling career, the return of his character ‘Captain Insano’ from ‘The Waterboy’, and what it was like working alongside John Cena and ‘The Rock’. Gina Grad reports the news of today including: the LA County Public Health Director going maskless at a baseball game, the first case of polio in over a decade appearing in New York, Ricky Martin’s nephew withdrawing allegations, Linda Evangelista settling a fat-freezing lawsuit, and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ surpassing ‘The Avengers’ at the US box office.
Adam welcomes back security consultant, safety instructor and expert on all things Mexico, Ed Calderon. Ed talks about seeing Biden flags at migrant camps, how the media pushed a false narrative about Border Patrol whipping migrants, why developments in human trafficking should be sounding alarm bells right now, the culture shock of coming to the US as an immigrant, his time as a cop in Tijuana, how the US is awarding weakness, and the current states of the border and the cartel. Adam and Ed look at the media coverage of a recent Indiana mall shooting where a 22-year-old bystander with a concealed carry weapon brought down the shooter.
