Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Dog the Bounty Hunter

Show Summary

At the top of the show, Adam talks about his upcoming interview with Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and then welcomes him back into the studio to talk about people maintaining a broken system of thinking. They talk more about peoples’ emotions taking over, and Adam shares a story about ironing at the house. Before heading out, Neil explains how we can potentially change the way our society thinks.

Dog the Bounty Hunter is in studio next, and the guys talk about the recent passing of Dog’s wife, Beth. Adam also asks Dog about his time in prison back in the 70s, as well as why he got involved with a biker gang as a teenager. They also discuss having a motor, the origins of his Bounty Hunter title, and how Tony Robbins and Martin Sheen saved his life. Later they chat about society trying to reverse engineer itself, redefining what crime is, and why he always gives a cigarette to the person he’s just arrested.

Gina begins today’s news talking about a horrific act of Familicide committed by a teenager. They also discuss the Rotten Tomatoes score on Dave Chappelle’s new standup special, Ezekial Elliott’s new NFL contract, and Ariana Grande’s claims that she does not use autotune. As the show wraps up, the guys discuss Cuba Gooding Jr.’s groping trial being postponed, and people featured in ESPN Magazine’s 2019 Body Issue.
