Show Summary

At the top of the pod, Adam tells Bryan and Gina about an amazing Offspring performance he witnessed that almost literally brought the house down. He also shares a story about he and Jimmy once planning a Mr. Birchum live stage show, and he asks a philosophical question about the unintended consequences of making things easier for people. The gang then talks about Love Boat ridiculousness, and more specifically about Halston’s bizarre performance. Before the break, Vinnie Tortorich joins the pod and warns of the dangers of the ‘Beyond’ food trend, as well as thoughts on hummus, climate change, and soy beans.

Adam welcomes Dexter Holland back to the studio at the top of Part 2. Adam asks him about his custom van, his hot sauce business, and recently completing his degree in molecular biology. Adam then asks Dexter about getting the band back on tour, and his plane back in the air. Later, Dexter talks about the process for training for a smaller scale triathlon, and the times he conducted the USC marching band. From there the guys talk about the KROQ Weenie Roast days, and what the experience was like when The Offspring first blew up. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about United operating supersonic aircrafts, Chris Harrison continuing his Bachelor break, the Bam Margera / Jeff Tremaine feud, and a radio reporter who had sex on the air.
